If you need parts for your engine the model number is located on the engine.
If you need parts for your equipment those numbers are located on the equipment.
These numbers (model#, etc...) may be hard to find but they must be given to us in order to give
you the correct pricing and for us to look these parts up.
Ex. Now days you can't just call and say you have a 38'' 18 hp MTD mower, and that you just
need a spindle or belt. Most manufacturers don't make parts interchangeable these days. In
fact, MTD has several different spindles that are patented and to some small degree different. If
I just grab a spindle off the shelf, there would be a high degree of probability that it would be
incorrect.
Print out this chart (page), fill chart out with the numbers from your
equipment and have ready when asked. Then keep for future reference.
